Favorite Tequila

This is one I think many people are going to have a hard time pin pointing. I recently just found mine as it was a gift from my parents for Christmas. Herencia Mexican Anejo Tequila. Holy crap is it good. Smooth without losing the flavor. Beautiful in color. Quite good stuff. What's your favorite?

For mixing, I generally go with Sauza or Cuervo. For drinks where tequila is more prominent, I tend to like Corralejo (when I can get it) or 1800.

Usually 1800, though Cuervo is fairly cheap and tastes good enough with salt.

I'm not a big tequilla drinker though, ever since a night with Jagermeister, tequilla, and Goldschlager all at various points throughout.

It went something like 🙂 😀 😱 😕 😵 😱 D: 😳

I like 1800. It's good stuff but not as expensive as Patron, which is the best I ever had. I recently picked up a bottle of Camarena, not bad but I only had one shot so far. And I always get Silver. If you want good stuff make sure it's made from 100% Blue Agave.

Having had everything Patron has to offer, I do agree they make pretty good tequila but far from the best I've had.

I've tried all the big brands, I've spent more I've spent less, but i still like my patron.

Sauza Conmemorativo for mixing.

Trago Añejo or Reposado for sipping. Though I have been having trouble finding it lately.

Sauza Hornitos or Cuervo Tradicional for mixing.
100% Agave with good flavor.

Don Julio Silver for shots - $10 cheaper than Patron Silver and smoother

Herradura Anejo for sipping on the rocks

If you want cheap you can not beat these three as they are all 100% Agave.
Camarena $16
El Jimador $18
Puerto Vallerata $15

Don Julio Real or Añejo

They have a cheap tequila which is their Blanco but I had some of their Real and it was damn good. So smooth even to shoot. I had it at a friend's house and it's supposedly really expensive but the best tequila I've ever had. I personally have the Añejo and it's great for not being too expensive.
