I recently was at a friend's house and saw Home World sitting on his desk. I've never played it before, but I recognized the Sierra logo, and it brought back memories of Swat 3.

I used to play Swat 3 online 24/7, the community was close-knit but intense, and the clans all had powerful reputations. I remember I was slow to pick up on Swat 4, but enjoyed it more for single-player than multi. Still a good game.

Anyway, my friend mentioned a few Sierra classics that he absolutely loved.

So, do any of you have any Sierra games you remember loving? (I think Sierra no longer exists, Activision took it over or something.)

Space Quest 3.

It was the first one I played, and have since played many other "quest" games from them. I just recently bought the SQ collection and played through them all again.

Hero's Quest was my favorite. (Became Quest for Glory) Also played most of the Police Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, King's Quest, and Space Quest series. Colonel's Bequest was fun too.

You mean Sierra-developed titles, well in my case it would be SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle, I really liked it. As a side note Homeworld wasn't developed by Sierra, it was published by them, and developed by Relic.

Where did you buy them from?

Edit: NM. A quick search in Steam found me the Space Quest and King's Quest series. Amazing!

Agreed, but you forgot Zeus: Master of Olympus in that list.

Caesar 2 > *

(Caesar 4 was good too, and had a "Sierra" logo on it, but I'm not sure it counts.)

As far as adventure games, loved Dagger of Amon Ra. The King's Quests too. Never got into Space Quest though.

Also have to say Island of Dr. Brain is by far the best educational game ever.

I played King's Quest and lots of Lord's of the Realm. Sierra made great games back in the day.

Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers
Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within

Two of the finest adult-themed adventured games I've ever played.

Conquests of the Longbow. My friend and I spend a good chunk of the summer playing that when we were 12 or so.

I loved that game too. It was the only Sierra adventure that I took the time to get every point possible while finishing the game and this was before you could just look online for a walkthrough. Definitely one of my all-time favourite game (although I did pick up a Quest for Glory bundle a few years back and just couldn't get into the games like I used to).
