Favorite shipper? UPS, Fedex or USPS?

This is what I think.
1.)USPS - Very cheap, delivers on time or early and packages are always in good condition.
2.)Fedex - Always delivers ontime and in good condition but expensive.
3.)UPS - half my packages are late and some a beat up.

What do you think?

1) USPS - I've received maybe 20+ packages from the US (I'm Canadian) with this and none were damaged, all arrived on time
2) Fedex - Only received one thing... everything went ok
3) UPS - Everything arrives damaged, was once charged $60 in fees for something I paid $100 for. Don't ship with this POS company.

1) USPS and Fedex. No problems with either.

666) UPS. May this company burn in hell. I have at least two or
three stories similar to Kami's along with a guarenteed 4 day delivery
that took 22 days to travel 500 miles.

UPS is getting as bad of a rep as Airborne Express. I won't ship anything of value through them w/o insuring it. I think they run over everything with a forklift before delivery.

Actually, the assholes in the sorting facilities get their jollies from beating up and tossing around packages marked "fragile."

UPS is about the only shipper I ever get packages from, and all of them arrive thoroughly bashed; when the packages are late, I think it's so that someone can have some extra time to smash them.

You only hear all the horror stories about UPS, but what you don't hear are the many more stories of praise. I'll admit that I'm a little biased beacuse I used to work there, but their domination in the shipping industry must mean something.

FedEx has the timeliest service and best care, IMO. USPS is second, but occasionally they'll lose or break something. Boxes with UPS on them always look a little beat up. A lot of times the box is crushed in and even though the tracking system is the most advanced, it often arrives after the scheduled delivery time.

over couple hundered shipments i have sent/received, the only thing USPS ever lost was my mp3 player. unfortunately i misplaced the delivery confirmation slip so they couldnt track it down 🙁 other than that, they never gave me any trouble. i love getting stuff thru fedex, those boys are quick 🙂

I use UPS the most and have had no problems. Over 200 things shipped with them. I have also used USPS rarely, and Fedex hardly. No problems...

Really? I thought it was only me! I have shipped and recieved constantly to and fro California, and I am in Ohio. It has never taken more than three days, usually two. UPS?!?!? EIGHT FRIGGIN' DAYS!!! and that was their best time! JEEZ and could drive to california and pick the damn thing up in that time!

Same thing with me... with USPS it took two days for a package to get from Seattle to Atlanta (with stamps on it). It took UPS seven days for them to get my package from California to here.

I only ship using USPS, 99.9% of the time Priority Mail with delivery confirmation, Express Mail the rest of the time.

Don't have a lot of experience with FedEx.

See my sig for my feelings on UPS. I now warn every person who i do trading deals with not to use them, and anyone who ignores my advice and ships to me using them anyway gets immediately put on my 'do not trade with' list. UPS, Rambus, PC-Chips, and the Abit RMA department are the four enemies of computer enthusiasts everywhere, and i hope that an especially hot place is reserved in hell for UPS in particular.

I haven't had a problem with any of them, actually...though UPS definitely seems to be slower than the others. USPS is great cost-wise, and I generally trust Fedex to get my stuff to me quickly and in good condition (though as said above, the price is usually higher).
