favorite sandwich combination ?

so simple... the one catch, everything has to be VERY fresh:
medium sliced french bread
thinly sliced smoked ham
a shmear of mayo (not miracle whip!)
sharp cheddar
vine ripe tomatos
pinch of salt and and pepper.
reminds me of summer time! 🙂

left over thankgiving turkey with mayo and salt and if I am feeling crazy some stuffing and cranberry sauce

you're all making me hungry those all sound so good!

for me it's always been a roast beef sammich with lettuce tomato and mustard, maybe a little mayo but doesn't need it. Ever since my dad snuck one to me when I was 6 years old and in a hospital where they wouldn't let me eat anything for days. Man did that sammich disappear fast.

some crusty bread drizzled with a little olive oil and stuck under the broiler until it's a little toasty
sliced tomato
sliced fresh mozarella
shredded basil
a toss of balsamic vinegar
some salt and pepper

i recently had a really good grilled cheese sandwich. the bread was a sourdough kind, and it went really well with the cheese.

Italian Bread sliced down the middle, both sides with a thin layer of mayo. Stack Turkey and Ham up nice and high, with a few slices of provolone, on top, really crispy bacon.

(3) strips of cooked bacon
(2) leafs of lettuce
(2-3) slices of tomato
(2) slices of avocado with a pinch of salt sprinkled on

all in between (2) slices of potato bread with mayo spread on both sides. that my friends, is my version of a b.l.t. w/ avo. enjoy!

I was typing with one hand while holding a sandwich. It was quicker and easier than doing "what's". Now if you want me to type properly, I can do it all day now without the sandwich.

I like a fried oyster poboy. Here is the ingredients:
12" Wheat sub roll
Fried oysters
Mayo/Mustard(creole)
Season Salt
Garlic pepper
Tons of Hot sauce
Cajun Power Garilic Sauce
Tomato, Lettuce, Red Onions

I'm eating a fish burrito today...Mmm, yummy.

As for sandwiches though, I like ham and cheese on rye or a ham & cheese sub. Provolone or swiss are usually my choices for cheese.
