What are your favorite places to eat, drink, party, shop, etc...?
I will be heading that way soon and I know that there are a lot of Anandtechers in the NC/SC area.

Is there a Hard Rock in Myrtle Beach? I didn't know that...

At any rate, I don't know much about MB. I've only been there a few times even though I live in SC. I do know that there's tons of miniature golf courses and go-kart tracks. Good ones. Elaborate, decorated, etc. My brother, uncle, and I are going to try and go down to the beach for a couple of days for nothing but golf and go-karts sometime this summer if we can.

It's been 15 years since i went last, the place has changed so much (according to my parents who when last year). Miniature golf is/was king down there. Also there are BUTTLOADS of regular golf courses all around, if you are into that. They have an Imax, HardRock and aquarium there now too. I always enjoyed Ripleys and the Pavillion. Lots of shops and bring me back some salt water taffy. 😉 I plan on going down there next spring/summer if I can.

Aquarium and Ripleys are fun. If you enjoy golf is always good down there.
You could go to one of the three hooters in the area. Those are always
good places to eat. The beachs ought to be nice this time of year.

FREAKY TIKI!!! :Q

Heh, Spanish Galleon and Mother Fletchers are pretty tite too. During one wet t-shirt contest at Mother Fletcher's, this 22 year old nursing assistant named 'Bambi' became the hottest thing this side of the sun, omg her figure was purrfect...and she had this sweet sultry voice! I was convinced the bar was flying in porn stars.

I went there about 7 or 8 years ago. I don't remember anything other than feeling weird things brush up against my feet/legs in the water. :Q It was probably sea-weed, but at the time it freaked me out as we'd been talking about assorted unfriendly sea-life 😛

Anyway... it was a fun time at any rate.

Sure is one. It is a huge pyramid.

I just checked the House of Blues and during my stay both 311 and Disturbed will be playing. I'll probably go to one of those concerts.

That Mother Fletchers sounds interesting. Is that at Broadway at the Beach?

Two nice concerts. I'd love to see 311 perform.
