Circus Peanuts are bad, real bad. But I bet most here would agree Candy Corn is far more vial. When I was young my mom did not let me have much candy at all. Like twice a year. And I think I still would have turned down Candy Corn if that was my only candy option.

Yea, they're terrible also. You know you've been to a hateful house when you get candy corn for Halloween :^D Nasty wax, and sugar :^(

I love candy corn. Not as much as mr circus peanuts up there, but its a good candy.

Favorite old school candies: pop rocks, blow pops, jolly ranchers.

Wait, you like Candy Corn AND the Circus Peanuts? GOOD LORD

I don't know what to say...

Oh man, I must have a screw loose because I love candy corn too. Eat the white/yellow part first, then the orange. Even though they taste the same, that's how I have to do it.

I'm almost afraid to ask, but do you like Peeps too?

I'm getting really really hungry here. I also love circus peanuts, don't mind a few candy corn (but I eat the orange part first), I eat about one package of peeps per year, at Easter of course, but I hate talk radio - not nearly enough music.

I have some almond joy minis in the fridge. I was saving them for a candy emergency. This might be a candy emergency.

edit - and I like Necco's a lot. I especially like the packages that are all chocolate.

I <3 Gummi Cokes, 2 years ago my sis found the 5lb bags on Amazon and got me 1 of each, the small fat ones and the really large thin ones. Definitely my favorite Gummi candy but after almost 10lb (I gave some away) I was kind of burned out lol.

I never could stand Peeps...pure sugary yuck IMO, but I liked Necco's...especially the chocolate ones.
Circus peanuts...I can usually stand about a half-dozen of them...then I give the bag away to one of my neighbor kids.

I'm an old fuck...I remember when most candy cost a penney...candy bars were a nickle. Almost NO individual candy cost more than a dime.

Then again, Marvel and DC comic books were a dime...and the ads in them...WOW! Sell 12 boxes of cards...get a free prize!

My daughter came across some comics from the 60's and 70's the other day. (worn and beat-up, no resale value) I had forgotten about the "Magic X-ray Specs" and some of the other crap they sold in those...

Tell us more about the dinosaurs, grandpa.

Get the fuck off my lawn you little bastard!

Twizzlers Nibs. They actually taste better. Luckily they can still be found easily.

I like a lot of other things but cant think of them right now. Lemme get back to you.

I've never had circus peanuts, but I don't think I'd like them. I was comparing the level of enthusiasm CPA demonstrated

I think the cheapest I remember a candy bar being was 15¢, definitely no more than 20¢. I sold those stupid cards a couple of times. I got a crappy skateboard the one time, and I don't remember the other. I did learn a valuable lesson though. I learned that I don't want to have anything to do with sales :^D

Edit:
For grammar

I tried selling the seeds, with much the same result 😛
I can remember when comic books were a quarter, and still have a few of them... the price shot up rapidly from there, though, within ten years they were $1.50. I bought Bazooka Joe for a penny, too 😀

And yes, I like the occasional circus peanut and candy corn.

french roasted peanuts by Brachs....

the school faves were atomic fireballs, bubblelisous (sp), cinnamon toothpicks (homebrew)...

I remember buying bubbletape a few times for the novelty. Realistically, that much gum gets kind of gross 1/3 of the way through, but as a kid, the notion of having so much available was enticing

Big League Chew, especially the grape flavored.

Funny trying to emulate the baseball players chewing and spitting as a kid, although I didn't realize it was tobacco they were spitting until years later.

I remember when comic books were 12 cents and you could buy three sour jujube hats for a penny.

Grape was the BEST! I ate some years after I had grown up to reminisce. And holy crap that stuff taste like pure sugar. Definitely wasn't high quality bubble gum. I remember as a kid I always wanted to swallow it real quick, dunno why

Hmm, I love Goetz's Caramel Creams. Bubble gum cigars were always too hard to chew. I loved breaking Bonomo's turkish taffy, but don't remember actually eating the stuff. And I still like rock candy - it's easy to make.

I used to be afraid of HeatH bars. The H eat H thing was really weird. Liked the taste, but wondered about the H eating H thing.

When I was in elementary school I was crazy about Lik-M-Aid. A quick google search tells me that it is now called Fun Dip. Which my grandson loves, and I hate. But when I was little it wasn't sour, it was normal flavors.
