Almonds - I eat a handful for a snack every day. I prefer them roasted, but like them raw as well.
 
First thought was cashews...but then again I've never been addicted to them like roasted and salted sunflower seeds.

I forgot to mention a really good nut that's a bit more rare - marcona almonds form spain.

They seem greasy and tatse great.
 
Pistachios FTMFW. I finish a 16oz bag in 4 days or so. They have always been expensive, yet in the past two years have watched them skyrocket even more. Ridiculous prices.

Cashews are also pretty good, as are honey roasted peanuts.

They fit most everything - everywhere and can be hurled with a slingshot if one needs to defend themselves. That sounds nuts, I know.
