For me, recently it's been Two Steps from Hell's Archangel (the album).

My favorite music while driving is basically anything on my ZuneHD. It's about the only place I use the thing (it was amazing on campus during college) anymore, but it's worthwhile: 32GB of driving music, a "favorites" shuffle list over 300 songs long and so much more on tap. :D

I'll go from listening to a fair bit of the Avenged Sevenfold discography, to Coheed and Cambria (Neverender live discs, typically), Chevelle, Tech N9ne, Wiz Khalifa, Mars Volta, Tool, Dirty Heads, Slightly Stoopid, Queens of the Stoneage, Killswitch Engage, Thrice, Incubus, Kid Cudi, 311.

Pretty much everything I'll listen to I'll end up listening to while driving at some point.

Probably one of my favorite road songs, that's not from one of the artists above, is OAR's Road Outside Columbus (the live version of That Was A Crazy Game of Poker is usually played before or after that, for good measure :)). It makes me nostalgic and sometimes a little sad, I miss Columbus so. Awesome song though.

The Distillers are a good one for me; really gets the juices flowing. I could listen to Brody for miles and miles.

Probably guitar driven blues. Depends on mood though. Sigur Ros is good for a cloudy day drive in the fall, and I like up tempo big band tunes.

I like jazz or the Blues on Sunday drives with the wife. Very comforting and it puts her to sleep. I could drive all day in upstate NY, NY, or Connecticut.

Howard Stern.

Yeah, I know it's not music but he does have some great musical guests from time to time who perform in studio. His show is really the only thing I listen to most of the time.

Malian blues, Little Feat, lately The Black Keys, Fred Neil, and Fergie. For really long cross country trips, the original cast recording of Jesus Christ Superstar works better than you might think.

Depends on mood and time of day for me. Early in the morning I like to listen to talk radio (Preston and Steve show on 93.3 WMMR in Philly). Most other times I like some nice, simple rock or something smooth, maybe Nada Surf or The Black Keys. Sometimes if I'm traveling the Garden State Parkway or the Jersey Turnpike I'll listen to RATM or something angry... it's appropriate. ;)
