That has to be the part in 'Ian Van Dahl - Will I' when the singer repeats 'will I'... Oops... Maybe that's not really classic, but I tend to forget music very quickly.

Ahhhh, VERY good choice. We played that freshman year in marching band. Always have a soft spot for the whole piece. :)

What highschool??? That would be pretty cool to march too... especially at the end where it just really blows up.

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Marching Eagles in Parkland, FL. It was freshman year, so i think 95-96. I might have an mp3 of it stashed away somewhere. IT WAS FREAKIN WICKED!

No need to point out, Y'All know the part I'm referriong to.

Yeah, that is so cool... at 13 movements of it. I played several of them in college.

My favorite piece has to be Chopin's Revolutionary Etude (Etude in C minor).

Confutatis maledictis from Mozart's Requiem comes to mind, along with the great scene in the movie Amadeus that featured it.

My favorite part of Carmina Burana is the drinking song, as opposed to the catchy bit that comes at the beginning and end, although I'll concede that is a powerful passage.

I love the 1812 Overture. You just gotta respect a piece written for orchestra and cannon!

I also really dig Gerschwin's Rhapsody in Blue, if that counts as classical.

And I hate Pictures at an Exhibition!

Any number of moments in Rach 3...
Prokofiev's 3rd Piano Concerto has some really great moments as well.

I always feel that works such as Carmina Burana and the 1812 are overused and lose much of their charm as a result.
