Some things I found out were this:

Many people can't tolerate milk, children are often allergic to it, and in many cultures no one drinks milk once weaned.
All the nutrients milk provides are available from other sources.
Modern dairying methods are cruel to cows and place too great a burden on the environment.
Milk causes cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis, and so on.
Milk causes heart disease.

Instead of giving it up completely, why not switch to brands that humanely treat their animals.

Soy juice for drinking, but it has to be Silk or home made. The cheaper stuff makes my guts twist into balloon animals. I'll make almond milk once in a while too. I use regular whole milk for baking but I can't drink the stuff straight up.
