Favorite Memory Brands

I was just curious what brands of memory everybody likes.

I know corsair and OCZ are always popular. What do you guys think about Kingston? How about PNY? Mushkin seems to be fairly popular as well. Which ones do you think offer the best value, or best performance?

Memory is one area where I concede that I'm woefully behind the times, so I'm just curious what the current trends are and what you all seem to think these days.

Thanks!

I like Crucial in general and Apacer for the cheaper stuff (though it's all cheap now).

IMO there's little difference in all the brands mentioned as far as stability goes, compatibility wise the two I mentioned i've found to be great.

Personally i doubt i'll stray from Crucial and Corsair thesedays

the last time i bought crucial, it was a 256mb stick of cas3 pc133. i had no problems with it. i have used corsair ever since. dont know why, i just do.

OCZ and kingston for both performance and value.

I have noticed OCZ seems popular amongst the over-clocking crowd as well. We don't carry them yet, but I'm working with the company to become a re-seller. From what I read, they are a good performance brand.

Crucial, Kingston, Corsair, Mushkin

Don't really have a favorite, Mushkin has super-fast rmas, so they're high up in my books

Corsair, it's got a lifetime warranty on it. I've had 2 sticks, one normal 184 pin and another SODIMM and both are great.

I like Corsair, but their XMS PC 3200 is not backwards compatible like other PC 3200 sticks on a PC 2700 slot. For reasons untold, that's fine. But I have to admit, that if you're not going to the expensive XMS, don't bother getting them unless you want to OC "'cuz the mid-range ones are a rip off"
