Yeah. You're right about them being different weapons. 😱

They both are, at heart, the same: automatic weapons that fire shotgun shells. So why the shotgun and jackhammer use different ammo in the game..............I don't know. Again, I guess it's a game device.

I've fired a streetsweeper. Now that I see the jackhammer is different stuff, I want to shoot it too! 😀

Because the shotgun is like 50 times more powerful. And in the latter parts of the game when you walked in a room with 4 enemy commandos, the dualies wouldn't do jack sh-t. It either headshot them all with the Commando or you're dead.



<< I uase the dual berettas for the the high rate of fire, and large capacityw/o reloading. The other pistols need to be reloaded to much. The ingrams use wayyyy to many bullets. and there is always bretta ammo/ >>



This was actually another reason I didn't really use the dual Berettas later on, they chew up ammo fast especially when going against enemies with body armor. And since all those enemies carried Colts, you'd pick up Commando ammo and not 9mm.
 
In god mod the m79 is tons of fun but the dual machine guns are more suitable for non-cheating mode.

It was a fun game to play!
 
Man... i thought sawed off shotgun would own this poll. I can go through most of the game with just the sawed off shotgun alone! Doesn't everyone agree that it's the best early game weapon?

Yah, I used the sawed off a lot in the beginning. Like it much better than the pump action.
