IN VT, we got some good cheddars. My favorite is actually pretty cheap, it's the ends and pieces of Grafton cheddar from my local co-op, at only 5 bucks a pound, both smoked and non smoked varieties. Smoked is the best, I've had some bad smoked cheddars but this is some of the best cheese I've ever had, no questions asked.

My favorite slice of pizza is at shops that have cheddar for making sandwiches. I tell them to heap every kind of meat onto a slice, then hold it all down with a layer of cheddar cheese. MAN is that good.

Yes, I am fat. LOL

If I had to pick one, probably havarti.

Recently I've been having some absolutely delicious chevre from a local farm. (Their Monocacy Ash cheese is good too.) So I'm kind of tempted to pick that, but chevre is not as versatile. For a delicious all-around cheese, you can't beat havarti... can slice it for crackers or pretzels, can put it on sandwiches, I've even shredded it onto pizza.

Mazzeralla for me.
What is Mazzeralla ?

Mazda was going bankrupt so they sold the company to a cheese manufacturer.

They now produce the Mazzeralla. It's a cheesy little car. :p

ohhh me so hungy...

I love all forms of cheese but a good bleu is the best. .5 lb hamrburger, two dashes of Worcestershire sauce, 1 diced piece of bacon and a handful of crumbling bleu cheese makes just about the best burger you've ever had.

Hard to pick a type. Not even sure I could pick an individual cheese, though lately it would probably be Pleasant Ridge Reserve.

Living in WI for several years, I've found that cheddar can go on absolutely anything.

We recently got the second Grafton plant in my town. They have some 4-5 year old cheddars that are awesome!
