Amazing how many people know the 'starbucks' language. I don't even understand half the things you guys are saying - like what exactly is it.
I just drink straight coffee from a local coffee shop and can't stand starbucks. Their coffee is so bitter(burnt beans?) - plus everything is like 5 bucks for a drink - screw that.

haha you know, I went to a borough in NJ that only had 1 Starbucks that I knew of (vs the 3 located within 1 block of me here...). I went in , said "hi, i'd like a venti mocha frapp triple shot, no whip". She looked at me all . I repeated myself. It took her about 2 minutes to enter into the computer.

Need a new drink. Kinda over my usual...grande mocha frap double shot no whip. Or the large ice blended mocha extreme. Although they are both quite tasty.

Any recs?

Iced cafe americana? Anything even CLOSE to vietnamese iced coffee?

iced coffee w/white mocha

Hm, gotta try that, thanks!

for the triple shot mocha frap, do they give u the left overs in an extra cup? (they should since your paying $1.65 extra for the 3 shots.)

leftovers? wah? never lol

geez.. at my starbucks in dc, they give me the leftovers in a 2nd cup (tall). it usually ranges from 1/2 to 3/4 of the cup. add whip/toppings, and put a flat lid on it.

seriously - its like learning another language almost - haha. I've been to starbucks a few times, and I always just say "can i get a medium coffee" and people in line look at me like:

oh no, the world is coming to an end, he said medium, WTF is that, where is my TallGrandeGiganticoSuperMochaFrapIcedCappacinoWithHazelnutAnd100ShotsOfEspressoAnd10CansOfWhippedCream....

What's with the iced coffee now? You all know this is the greatest marketing gimmick since bottled water, right?

"What should we do with this left over coffee?"

"I dunno...let's add ice to it and make it look like a fancy drink! That way people will pay doulbe for something we were going to throw away!"

Iced Caramel Macchiatto

IMO the best iced drink they have. Plus, it looks cool (like a triple layered drink).

Normally either get that or just plain iced coffee (when its hot out).

I forgot if it's at dunkin donuts or starbucks or both, but there's this tasty iced drink called 'vanilla bean' that i love having... kinda like a vanilla milkshake but tastier and not so thick.

actually, ice coffee is brewed stronger and in a different machine cuz it has to be stronger to survive the ice melting =P

and the drinks we're talking about here usually involve espresso. so the comparison to bottled water is moot.

starbucks

The Vanilla Bean Coollata is from Dunkin Donuts. Starbucks probably has something similar though. We don't really have that many Starbucks around here though, so I expect there are a lot of drinks they both have, but I have no idea about.
