Favorite handheld console

gamegear... way too advanced for the gameboy... and for it's time for that matter... just didn't have the best support behind it (Sega)

Atari lynx, that game where you drove around and you were a cop (I can't remember the name) was awesome.

How cool is gameboy advanced I am thinking about getting one when the price drops to $50

I've still got my original Gameboy - bought it back in '89 with my paper-round money! I still take it on holiday with me to play Zelda.

However, I got a Gameboy Advance last Christmas so I guess the original GB will get retired when I go away later in the year 🙁

GameGear was really awesome for it's time. I loved it, I don't think Gameboy was nearly as good. I remember when Mortal Kombat came out for it, I was so excited 😉 It even had an adapter that let you play old Sega Master System games.

The Turbo Express was, and still is, the best handheld. It's backlit LCD screen is sweet!

Was/is there any other handheld that can claim that they use the same game cartridges as their console counterparts?

I was going to vote for something really cool, but considering that the kids got me addicted to pokemon I have to be honest and say GBColor. I musta dedicated a year of my life to Pokemon Pinball alone.

The Sega Nomad 🙂

GBA right now. but Nomad was beast. a handheld Genesis is beast. and now a handheld SNES is awesome. but the game gear is awesome too. just too big.
