SNAKE EYES..

you can read more about your old favorite tv shows on Yesterdayland

for Transformers, hot rod was my favorite... who saw the Transformers the movie? You know how Optimus Prime died? Well in two back to back episodes after the movie came out... they had.. THE RETURN OF OPTIMUS PRIME... i just watched them on my school network.. have them burned... kick ass! Not that great of an episode... but still cool..

what bout voltron, silver hawks, bionic six... so many... COPS... today's shows suck....

Snake Eyes was badass. He's my all time favorite. I remember getting the G.I. Joe hovercraft for Christmas. I also remember breaking it the same day. ;)

Nice links guys,
brings back a lot of memories.
I guess everone who is voting for the pansy 6 inchers is too young to
remember the 12 inch dolls.

They rocked - no comparison.

FireFlyYOJO thanks for that site wow!

I did not know they still make those minijoes till this day.

i really liked Mutt cuz he came with a dog & a Mac11 with silencer. Gee i did not know they made so many versions of him.

I like snakeeyes, actually I have the very original one then the second version where I think he has a dog.
I also bought the 2nd version a second time and never opened it.

I also had Jinx, which I thought was awesome.

I had Beachhead too, which I thought was amazing. He carried SO much ammo.

really the trio of snakeyes/shadow/jinx was the apex of my collecting. My interest started going downhill during the time they released Sgt. Slaughter /

FLint was cool too, which I had. I also had LadyJane. I thought LowLight was so Fly, hitech equipment.

My interest with Joes fell and fell rapidly as it seemed like Hasbro was running out of ideas and became increasingly dependent on pumping out characters with make believe "laser rifles" and stupid clunky vehicles that looked like space machines or whatever.

I remember the comic book was getting so watered down because they struggled to find a way to write plots that would flow properly so as to be able to introduce the glut of new characters all the time. It was so sad.

ALL my Joes are in Mint condition. I remember struggling with shelling out the big bucks (at the time) to buy one of those GIJOE boxes that hold your figures together. I have 2 boxes of Joes with ALL their equipment and all their ID cards. I also have that F-14 tomcat which I loved dearly. It's in Great shape too.

I really did not know there has been so many re-issues of the same characters.. talking about milking it. but for me I have the 1st issues of many of those characters.

Thanks for the memories!

Oh man...I remember playing with my GI. Joes hours on end. I kinda wish they still made the little figured like I used to get. I still remember the Christmas when I wanted the Rolling Thunder playset soooo bad, and ended up getting it. I'm pretty sure the rest of my presents went un-noticed :). Hehe, those things had to be a pain for my parents, they were as bad to put together as some of the models I attempted at one time.

Does anyone remember that one helicopter (I think it was a cobra one) that had like three cockpits on it? IIRC, it was purple, with red accessories. I remember wanting that before I was much into getting the toys, but I didn't see it much after that.
