Atari 2600. Defender. Me and a friend would play this game until we each got tired and then pass the joystick quickly to the other without interuption in game play until the atari locked up. We beat tha hell out of that game, I can remember taking turns one time to eat a great fried chicken dinner. Ahh those where the days. I doubt I could get off the first level now a days. /}

I'm going to have to go with stonerdave on this one, the strike series (desert, jungle, and urban) were the best.

Replevin: Was that archon game you listed the one with the chess board and the different fantasy characters that was played kinda like chess but with a gladitorial faceoff when you moved to an opposing foe's square? That was a great Nintendo game.
