Electric Company had Rita Moreno.... of course it ROCKED! :D

I like Villa Allegra. It was for teaching Spanish.

Anyone else remember?

Other than that, Underdog and Hong Kong Fooey were for me.

The Electric Company also had Morgan Freeman, as Easy Reader. :)

Good grief, you are right! I forgot all about that.

Hands down, Electric Company was the best educational children's show.

I loved the lips that formed the words. :)

Sunday mornings in the mid '70s I was laying on the floor watching the best TV at that time.

Little Rascals before the sun came up. Followed by The Lone Ranger...the pilot episode (where he became the Lone Ranger) had me mesmerized. After that it was Tarzan with Ron Ely. I remember reading the whole 24-book series by E. R. Burroughs because this show was so cool. Finally The Outer Limits was on after that. Far, far better than The Twilight Zone.

It is O.K., I forgot Rita Moreno (Just her name, not her) before you mentioned her in this thread. There are probably other people like that from the show that we have forgotten. I would buy the DVDs if those shows were released in that format.

The local station played Warner Brother's cartoons, Bugs Bunny et al, every day from 4 to 4:30.

Twin Peaks (...and it *still* makes no sense :))
Transformers (until Megatron was turned into a tank)
Battlestar Galactica (c'mon Scifi, we need more Galactica!)
Robotech
McGuyver(sp)

What I still watch:
Looney Toons
Freakazoid
Battlestar Galactica...I was glued to the TV when they showed the remastered one.

Which one had the Bloodhound Gang?

Whenever there's trouble, we're there on the double, we're the Bloodhound Gang. Oh wait just singing the song brought it back! 3-2-1 Contact.

The early 90s one where they mixed CG into it.

That was a sad state of affairs the day they did that, brought a tear to my eye.....

Ghost writer was cool, educational too :D
