Max Payne or Serious Sam.

I like Max because he's got serious issues but that doesnt stop him from mouthing off.
Actually, I guess you could say the same thing about Sam.

Also, I like JC Denton for the opposite reason. He knows he's got serious business to conduct and he doesnt waste time making wise cracks or banging chicks.
He'd kill a hundred terrorists in one night and still show compassion to a street bum who insults him.

The nameless hero in FEAR is pretty cool too. Awefully tough for a guy who's watched a little girl die and kill a dozen times.

Of course Cate Archer is just plain hot!
