Please select your favorite case from the available options. If you select "OTHER" please specify with a reply in this thread. I appreciate your feedback, I'm just trying to get an idea of the best case/most liked case in the community.

Peace

I really like the quality and construction of the Enermax CS-003-A106 Case. I purchased the case for $75 shipped awhile back.
It also comes with a nice OEM 300W enermax PSU, which usually sells for $35 alone.

The only think I dislike about it is the blue in the front. I'm probably going to mod it and place a intake duct or something similar.

Hello everyone.

I voted for the Lian-Li PC60 series. I have a PC65 that I absolutely love. For me, taking into account features, looks, engineering and price vs. performance, this series is the best "overall" case out there. Now, if Coolermaster could soehow be a little bit cheaper.... :p

Love my Chieftec (same as Antec 1040b) since size was not an issue I went this route. So far I love it. 420 watt power supply it came with seems nice as well.

Addtronics has been added to the running list. Thanks everybody thus far who has bothered to fill out the poll, I appreciate the answers. It seems like MANY people like Chieftec/Chenming cases, and then the Lian-Li PC60 (which is nearing the Chieftec/Chenming)

Thanks

I was seriously eyeing adding the In-Win Q500 to the list, however, it is clearly labeled as a full tower case (and although I didn't specify this in the original post) I'm trying to get an idea of what people's favorite mid-tower case is. Sure, the Chenming/Chieftec FS710/SX10xx does push the limitations of a 'mid-tower' but it is generally regarded as the mid-tower case while the 12xx takes the crown as a full-tower.

Peace

Antec SX1040 for me. I dont think you can get a better case. I would love to have one of the Lian-Li aluminum cases, but the price doesn't really interest me, plus you have to be careful and not accidentally scratch it up. Great looking cases though...

Funny thing, I actually like my generic cases. I often change the power supplies, but many of the expensive ones don't come with one at all. I sometimes mod and experiment with cases so would rather get cheap ones than expensive ones. Plus, I've found a few cheap ones that seem really nice.

I have two Lian Li cases - one PC60 midtower and one PC30 minitower. Love the quick access, slide-out motherboard tray, and decent cooling on both.

I find the PC3x series a compromise due to the orientation of the PSU, and needs a top blowhole for improved cooling.

PC6x series is outstanding as shipped.

I like my In-Win Q800...basically a Q500 with a fancier front bezel. Love the convenience of a slide out mb tray. With few minor mods to improve cooling and airflow it's a great case.

And of course, replace the stock psu with something a little better....like the Silencer 425 from PC Power & Cooling.
