Favorite/Best Hair Gel?

Redken has nice gel, but it has a strong alcohol mix, it seems, since it'll really dry out your hair and it has a horrible flakiness/residue. I have the 16, which is super hold.

I only use Redken gel. Even though I have to pay 12 dollars a bottle and get raped in the ass for it, it's the only gel that doesn't make my hair flake and gives a great hold.

I love ice spiker but in all fairness its not a hair gel, its a hair glue. Depending on what you're wanting it might be better than a gel though. Its awesome stuff.

I dont use Gel but I like the Molding Mud from Sebastian good stuff doesnt create the stiff as nails look.

L'Oreal Professional Glue is clearly the best out there (full fiber gel). If you "break" it down, you can just put a little water on your hair and fix it back. It cost around 10$ a tube though...

i use american crew fiber because it isn't greasy and sticky feeling like pomade

i also use dep #10 ultra sport hold. it makes your hair hold awesomely but it isnt stiff. i used to use LA looks, but it felt so stiff i thought i had super glue in my hair. dep 10 seemed to hold much better but is much more airy and more comfortable. i have used it for a few years now, and i have 6 more bottles of it sitting in my cupboard.

might go back to LA looks for a try. they seem to have improved.

My favorite is Fully Pumped by Salon Selectives. I think they may have discontinued it, because I can't find it anywhere. So I ordered 3 bottles recently from drugstore.com. It is in liquid form, but when it comes out the pump, it's diffused into a real light foam. It's not dense and sticky like mousse. It has the consistency of soap bubbles. Makes your hair very manageable.
