Just wanted to get a poll of everyone's favorite beer. Let me know if I should add other ones to the poll (I don't have many imports on it). Man, I had trouble picking just one. I definetely consume Natty Light the mose since I'm a poor college kid, but my favorite beer has to be Labatt Blue. Can't wait to goto Windsor this weekend and have a fresh domestic "Blue" 🙂
 
none of those. if in Ireland then Smithwicks. if not Guinness, then Harp, Caffrey's, Newcastle, McEwan's IPA. and a few others if those aren't available.
 
Heh.. I voted for MGD, but I actually prefer Rolling Rock. However, I'm not really a beer drinker, as I prefer margaritas 🙂
 
Smirnoff Ice is the only beer I like, I know it is expensive and a little girly but that is the only one I can enjoy. I can drink red stripe and almost enjoy it.
But I usually drink smirnoff vodka or peach schnapps(sp) when I do drink.
The place on campus has natty lites bottles for .75 cents all the time, so i think that is the most popular beer around here.

You don't include the "Bread of the Gods?"
But you include piss-in-a-can beers like MGD and Bud? (edit: or OMFG, Keystone???? I wouldn't drink that <censored> even if I was broke, and I love beer)

Also, where are the micros?
While I love Guiness, my absolute fav is Deschutes Brewery Pilsner. Must be tasted in order to be properly appreciated (you never knew beer could be that good). Very hard to get, even here in Oregon where they make it.
Anything else by Deschutes, Mirror Pond Pale Ale or Black Butte Porter (the only true Guiness-like beer made in America), will do as well.

And why would you list MGD and Bud as piss beers? Bud, sure it is pretty putrid stuff...but MGD is actually pretty good.

i agree with ya. people that plug microbrews bug me. claim it is the best beer ever, yet how am i supposed to try it when i live 2000 miles away? how about we stick to the beers that are available nationwide huh? just my .02

yeah.. i might go sit in the corner to recover from kami's slap (ouch that hurt 😛)... it did wake me up a little though... i'm thinking i could go for a few brews right now too. Maybe by the time i come back some decent beer will be on the list.
 
Barq's, it's the one with bite. Never got in the habit of drinking, but coffee I can be a snob about: Starbucks Verona 80/20 whole bean, ground fresh, ahhhh.
