Whats yours? I personally Like the Sweet Baby Rays Original or Sweet Baby Rays Vidalia Onion.

I put Sweet Baby Ray's up against Famous Dave's Rich and Sassy, and they were very similar, but I gave a slight edge to the latter.

Another vote for Sweet Baby Ray's. They have four different flavors that I like: Original, Hot and Spicy, Honey Chipotle and Sweet Vidalia Onion.

Mass market BBQ sauce FTL!

typically when someone says that, they follow it up with "Sauce XXX from my local town company YYY is best"

but no, and for that sir, you fail hard.

it sucks when you have to deal with high fructose corn syrup and MSG and other things that really give it that factory-synth taste. why dont you start with some homemade ketchup, paul prudhomme's BBQ magic, brown sugar, citrus rind/juice, oil, onion, pepper, whatever you want. instead of finding a brand or some jar art that you like, get some ingredients that you like, and make your own. you'd be surprised how much better things can be.

I have my preferences, but no point in posting them here because unless you are close to Tulsa you aren't going to be able to get them.

The hot bbq sauce from Steve's Rib down in Oklahoma. In all my life I've never bought bread and meat just to finish sauce before it went bad except for his.

Heinz+Lea&Perrins+honey+fresh orange juice, 7 secret herbs and alisons (which are garlic, chile arbol, black pepper, thyme, rosemary, and basil)=teh perfect grilling sauce

The Longhorn one I listed is HFCS & MSG free and also very, very low in sodium.

As far as store bought sauces go, i like Stubbs. They have the least amount of extra crap in there from a store bought sauce.

I usually get stubbs too.

My favorite sauce comes from one of the local BBQ places here.

I can't argue with this. Stubbs is my favorite store bought sauce. I start with their moppin' sauce, then use the BBQ sauce in the last few minutes.

Dinosaur BBQ sauce is my favorite, but, as far as I know, it's only available in the Syracuse area. I buy a gallon from Sam's Club when I'm up there.

Prefer less sugar in my sauce and all those supermarket mainstream varietes are loaded with corn syrup.

Stubbs Spicy is my current favorite.
