At least only a little crap has entered the list: Matchbox 20 and all of Presence's choices. Soon we'll get Creed and others, but...

For mine, I'd have to go with......Radiohead and Tripping Daisy. Can't choose between them. I could also throw in Zeppelin, Lennon, The Doors, Pink Floyd, The Pixies, and REM, but I'll leave it at what I have.
 
Led Zep #1 easy. Beatles, Floyd, etc are all awesome too. How can you even consider thinking about typing Blink 182, Sum 41, Creed, Linkin Park and the rest of that garbage in here? That'd ridiculous. That stuff does not compare to the bands being mentioned in this thread.

I'm freakin addicted to Green Day. I've got their CD's, a background, a freakin T-Shirt, and a poster 😀 gonna get a DVD w/ their muzak videos off amazon 😀

You got that straight...utter garbage!!! The topic was favorite band or musician though. With the MTV force-feeding of the corporate flavor of the moment you can't really expect anything less. 🙁

I'll admit that there is some good rap, but GOODIE MOB/OUTKAST??
Outkast has some addictive beats but.... FAVORITE RAP GROUP?
I think one of the best rap groups is The Roots, they actualy play their own instraments
