favorite apple?

Granny Smith all the way but I will eat honeycrisps if available (and on sale!). I simply can't eat apples that aren't crisp. There's nothing worse than playing the lottery with a red delicious and losing with a mushy one

Granny Smith or Glockenapfels; really anything sort of sour. Not sure how you guys can eat all of those sissy sweet apples.

sounds like you need a course in the ways of the Pink Lady.

I found them to be quite mediocre and they do not have the depth of flavour of a properly grown Granny, unless they are making them better now than a few years back. I was at a lecture at the Apple Festival a few years back and the lecturer had us try a bunch of different apples from all over and the Pink Lady was determined to be the most overrated. :hmm:

Maybe I'll have to try them again.
