Man he's put out a lot of stinkers

OMG, no one mentioned Jack Nicholson yet? Hes BY FAR my first... Every role he does is jaw dropping

Second one (far, far away) would be Christian Bale... Im sure he will bring some very impressive performances in the future

What about John Wayne, James Dean, Charles Bronson, Charlton Heston, Lee Marvin, James coburn, Richard Attenborough and so on... ?

Jim Carrey. Probably one of the most versatile actor around. Only thing he hasn't done is action, but i'm sure he could pull it off. In The Number 23, he was pretty damn buffed.

As a side note, don't watch that movie when you're stoned... it seriously, seriously, messes you up.

Highlander 1, Fortress, and Mortal Kombat are worth seeing. The first because it's a classic movie, has Sean Connery in a great role, classic 80s soundtrack, and one of the coolest villians ever. The second is just a good prison movie, plays with some of the dystopian future stereotypes nicely. And in Mortal Kombat, you can see he was having fun with the role and hams it up JUST shy of going over the line. Plus, that's one of the very few video game movie every done well.

The gay FBI agent in Boondock Saints put him over my second favorite...

He was amazing in Shadows of a Vampire
