old skool = pre 95? WTF have you been smokin?

damn NWA was out way early 90s and that sure as hell ain't old school.

Try ice cube, ice T, sugar hill, RUN DMC, et all. anything slightly after break dancin (mid-late 80s)

<edit> that's what I'm talkin about!!! forgot about slick rick and rakim.
someone got me started...
salt n pepa - push it
rakim - the message
kool moe dee- wild wild west
ll cool j - goin back to cali
slick rick - bedtime story
run dmc - runs house

to me, old school rap/hip hop is pre '90, not '95, but its all gravy.

Man Eazy E was da man! Nobody move! The Boyz in da hood are always hard...

I said lay down and unbutton your bra!
There was the tiggest bitties that a neigga ever saw!
I said damn! Then the air got thinner.
Only thought in my mind was goin up in her
The suspense was makin me sick!
She took her panties down
And the b!tch had d!ck

I said damn Dropped the gat from my hand
What I thought was a b!tch was nuthin but a man
Put the gat through his legs, all the way up his skirt
Cuz this is one f@gg0t I had to hurt!

LOL!!

Hehe, I love this thread. Reminding me of all the oldies but goodies.

Saw some stuff on here that I though I was the only one who still listened to it like Nucleus, Grandmaster Flash, and Salt N' Peppa. Ahh, back in Jr High....

Surprised nobody put some Beastie Boys up here. You know that was the shiznits back then 🙂 Brass Monkey!

Jam On It for breakdancing, White Lines for cranking it up, Brass Monkey for silliness, Can't Touch This for cheese, and Baby Got Back for just pounding bass 🙂

The Fat Boys Are Back - The Fat Boys
A Fly Girl - The Boogie Boys
White Line - Grand Master Flash
