Yeah I don't mind a witty comment in a informational notice every so often. But when he/she tries tries that hard to make every single remark of every single informational notice funny, witty, hilarious, etc, it gets really confusing. A bit overdone but I don't mind it too much, just wish there were a professional, to the point version and a version where they can express their creative writing skills.

You know if he was still a Moderator you'd be spending the next week posting elsewhere.

So.. we're now allowing personal attacks (and an uncalled for one, regardless of the poster) in PFI? sweet!

1) No trolling, flaming or personally attacking members. Deftly attacking ideas and backing up arguments with facts is acceptable and encouraged. Attacking other members personally and purposefully causing trouble with no motive other than to upset the crowd is not allowed.

hmm... according to the TOS... we're not.

Interesting..

Well seeing that I didn't give freedomsbeat212 an infraction for calling those who run this place Douchebags I thought it'd be only fair to overlook Old's indiscretion.

Of course you could always report it and maybe another Mod will give both an infraction.

Perknose will stab your face for this :p

I think the system notices are okay once in a while, or if they provide new and helpful info.

Whoever writes theses seems to make light of everything that goes on around here.. It's cloying and a bit rude..Anyone agree with me?

When you get to the fork in the road take it!
Humor is best enjoyed by those who can... The Number 1 consideration for those who can't is eating worms.

No. No I don't agree with you at all. The notices are just fine the way they are. A bit of humor probably won't kill you, and if it does we'll find a way to get over it.

I am not sure how posting the truth is a personal attack but then I don't give a fuck.

I think they are awesome. Forums should have character. And we have plenty of characters!

Honestly, if you let something this minor annoy you you do need to get a life. I appreciate the bits of snarkiness. Human beings run this forum as well as occupy it, and I like seeing their personalities show through.

I think the little remarks in the top are funny. Humor is awesome. But why in the hell would you post in PFI because you don't like it? Not taking your Prozac?

Threads like this make me appreciate what the volunteer staff has to put up with even more.
