Fatties...

I'm out of town visiting family and was asked by a relative to work on their car. No problem, except I didn't bring any work clothes. So, I head over to the local Walmart to buy a cheap $10 pair of jeans and a few t-shirts, work gloves, etc.

I wear a size 32 pant... Walmart was sold out of size 32 jeans in the style I wanted (cheapos). I asked the lady working in the clothing department and she said they only stock a few pairs of 32s now because that size classified as an "extra small" size now and not that many people wear that size anymore.

I ended up buying the last pair of size 32 Dickies tan work pants in the store. They weren't on display; it took three people 15 minutes digging around the warehouse to find them.

Now, if you want say a size 46 pant or a size 50 pant they got those, lots of em.

So, apparently at 6.0' tall and 205 lbs I'm now a minority. I'm not fat enough.

Oh great, now I'll have even more of a hard time to find pants. I was a 28 for the longest time. 30 was usually where they started. Now that I'm finally a 30... they go and bring it up to 32. arg! Why is it that fatties have to set the standard?

not only do they need lovin too, but they also need pants... unless they like to wear a nice sweatpants/cape combo

lol try being short and skinny. when i was wearing 28x27's they were impossible to find. now i just buy bigger jeans. but hell i can't find any 27 lengh shortest i find are 32's wich means i walk on the bottom of them.

I'm in Anaheim at the moment, numb nuts.

How was I supposed to know?

Any only reason I said what I did is because Indiana has a higher than average obesity rate. It's not the worst in the country, but it's not low.

are you making the mistake of shopping in the adult section?

I haven't bought clothes at Walmart besides this purchase in probably 10 years. I had no idea what to expect from them. My goal was cheap clothes I could get dirty and then toss in the trash.

I'm "normal" as far as I know! I do have broad shoulders. At one point I jumped up to 245 and no one could tell, my frame hid it very well. 200-205 seems to be my ideal weight.

No it's not. I'm around 6'1" and have a 30-32" waist, depending on the make of the pants.

I'm 6'4", and I don't remember having a 32" waist. It was some time well before graduating highschool. Until recent years I was always called skinny.

Guess it depends on where you shop. I buy most of my jeans from Eddie Bauer, and they tend to have sizes below a 32. Their jeans also run on the small side for some reason. Every other pant I'm 32x32, but EB I'm 33x32 :hmm:

btw, I'm 6' 175 and been in size 32 for many years. Not exactly skinny either. D:
