doh...I was hoping that Detroit would be up there again. Not that I'm part of that population, but I mean, if D isn't the killing capital of the country nor the fattest city, what do we really have to our names? ;)

Yeah I used to live near Beltline and it was just crazy how many restaurants there were. About a 5 mile stretch of road filled with nothing but restaurants and bars on both sides.

Like Anna Nicole Smith right? LOL.

You probably have to be an old, perverted billionaire to get with the ones that aren't fat yet.

shit... where does that put me? born in chicago and raised and currently in Houston.

You know why Houstonians are a bit plump right (not me btw, i have a *6 pack)?

Itz cuz we eat out the most (according to Letterman) and we have no public transport. we drive to go 1 mile away. its just not a part of our culture. the grocery store can be next door to our house and we'd still drive there. cities with public transport ususally require SOME form of physical activity to get to the train or what not. for us its about as far as getting into our garage. And then we stay indoors ususally cuz its too hot.

*in the fridge.

I believe San Diego is the fittest city, with Seattle coming in second. Not sure that relates to "fattest" or "least fat," though.

makes sense. San Diego is probably the nicest climate as well. people WANT to be outside, walking around, doing activities, etc.
