I appreciate the impulse to do something in this situation. I probably would have punched him once or twice until he was on the floor.

Everybody here saying that they would murder him - kill another human being - is just e-posturing.

I don't think many people here really understand murder. To end someone's life may not only end yours with jail time, but will probably land you with a whole host of psychological issues down the road.

But on second thought, I might have kicked his balls for good measure too.

Did you even read my question? They let a 4-year-old play outside and didn't see where she went. Who lets a 4-year-old play outside without watching constantly?

They clearly let the girl wander far enough that the perv was sure he wouldn't be seen taking her. I'm not blaming the parents for the perv's actions, but there appears to be SOME negligence on the part of the parents.

No idea what I'd do.. and honestly I hope I never have to make that decision either.

Though...I do agree this is one of those situations where instant justice would be warranted.
 
sadly this is a sad story, but doubly so are the dudes saying they'd suddenly become Chuck Norris when they couldn't even keep track of a 4 year old.

You don't let a 4 year old just go outside in a 'complex' and play.

My ex-wife's dad tried to escort me out of their house when I was just dating her and they caught me plowing her ass in their home.

I told them I'd leave. Fucker tried to get crazy on me. Sat that asshat down and put him in time out. He owned guns.

How did she go from being "found" outside the apartment by her mother to being naked and on the upper floor?

Read it again. She found the drinking cup outside. She didn't find the daughter outside.

OK. "Drinking" is a verb and I thought it said she was drinking a cup outside. It's funny that they needede to specify that the cup was for drinking. Maybe they thought "sippy cup" wasn't professional enough terminology for a news report.
 
I too am amazed with that man, that is un-fucking-believable restraint on his part.

I'd like to think in the same position I could do that, but odds are I'd probably hand the girl off to her mom, then make the perverts apartment look like a scene from Saw 1 before the cops showed up. Like Eli said...
