Father gives 2 year old son Marijuana

considering the kid had cancer, of the brain, at age 2 - marijuana is a pretty damn good idea imho. cancer at that stage in life, in the brain itself, can be devastating. And more importantly: marijuana is a potent anti-tumor drug. I think THC specifically highly promotes TNFa and can put a stop to some types of cancer.

I imagine there are, in all honesty I don't know enough about cannabis to argue, I've never tried it.

It's no worse than alcohol, the shades of gray are a little less defined though. I don't support giving a two year old marijuana, but it's not my decision to make, the person that has to make the decision made it in the story, and I won't judge it.

At least the kid has cancer and he's not doing the equivalent of just "giving his kid a sip."

Yeah as the kid has cancer I can't really complain. If it was a criminal thing I'd take issue.

No shit. ANYTHING that improves the child's quality of life at this point is a good thing. If a bit of pot makes him feel better, makes him hungry, relaxes him enough to sleep...I'm all in favor of it.
Even though I'd normally support putting a parent in jail for giving their kid drugs, this is not a normal situation...and the marijuana is being given as a medication, not a recreational drug.

BTW ahenkel, why would you give your child something as low grade as black tar heroin? There are so many legal opiate-based drugs that are far better, have much better dosage control, and have MUCH better purity. (but I still get your point and agree)

You sound like my friend that laughs at crack heads because they buy hard and not soft.

Injecting my child in the eye with black tar heroin was just the most extreme example I could think of at the time. Although chemo is pretty extreme too.

I don't quite get your point...I laugh at crackheads because they're stupid drug addicts...MY point was that black tar heroin is low grade shit...and when compared to the pharmaceutical drugs available...it's weaksauce. Plus, as with most illegal drugs, you never know for sure what purity you're getting, what it might have been cut with, or how often it's been cut. You might get 50% heroin this week...3% next week...China white is slightly different...although the same problems exist. You may get 98% pure this week...and 5% next week...and could have been cut with rat poison.

Hard = crack, soft = powder cocaine. One is for poor people, one is for actors.

Really you really think giving your kid pot to help with chemo side effects is retarded. I guarantee you the poison that is chemo is far more dangerous than pot ever will be, hell even black tar heroin is probably safer on the body than chemo drugs.

Dude... Pure Heroin has a therapeutic ratio of like 6:1... Even Fentanyl is safer LOL.

Of all the drugs the poor kid is on, the marijuana probably is the safest and has the least side effects.

anyone who thinks giving the kid pot is wrong is a fucking idiot, no exceptions, 100% fucking moron. I have seen/lived through a family member go through cancer and have experiance with pot and if it makes the pain/symptoms easier to deal with then there is no question its the right thing to do. I cant imagine what a 2 year old going through this is like my family member was alot older I smoked up with said family member on a regular basis including the day they died and any comfort that they could get is worth it.

Just think.. they kid was probably also pumped full of prescription opiates written by the docs. Funny how we have no problem with that yet there are still individuals in our country (and worst in our legislature) that take huge exception to him having some cannabinoid receptor stimulation.

And funnier still are the people worried about the long term effects on a kid who's life expectancy is drastically decreased and has also been exposed not only to high levels of opiates, etc. but also to Chemotherapy Drugs. Drugs specifically designed to be harmful to our bodies.

The ironing is killing me.
