Man, I like video games, but when people try to be badass about them, I cant help but chuckle. That picture of homedude made my day. Also, good lord why would they make an extreme gamer board with intel????

Edit: I'm talking about the review of the Fatal1ty motherboard that Anandtech just did.
 
Fatal1ty is a professional gamer.

He's incredibly good at what he does, you don't realize the amount of skill it takes to get to where he is. I admire someone who can devote so much time to something and not get bored and lose their commitment.

edit: okay i went and looked at the pic and i have to agree. that picture of him trying to look like a tough guy is a bit over the top. YOU'RE A GAMER. not a pro wrestler. amazingly enough tough guy looks on a professional gamer do not make me tremble with fear, altho maybe the point was to make me laugh and go "i could beat this guy, he looks like a chode."

who knows.

Word. One look at that guy and I got a powerful instinctive urge to punch him right in that eThug mug of his. Furthermore, I'd put $50 down on him not only taking it on the chin without a reaction, but crying like a little baby and running away.

Just a gut reaction.

because the guy runs intel. would you stop pretending ppl cant build up a nice computer capable of running fps games properly with a p4? it gets old.
no i do not run a prescott and yes i do run an athlon but some of the remarks are ridiculous and you can buy powerful cpus from intel and amd.
 
What suprisies me is that they have the ultimate board with completely useless Dual Gig-E then they have a X 700 XT? WTF? X 700 XT?

Bottom line in the review:
Frankly, the FX55 and 4000+ on the nForce4 wipe the floor with the Fatal1ty/3.46EE in gaming performance. Abit and Fatal1ty simply started with the wrong gaming platform.

i only admire people like that when they devote themselves to something that either helps others, or enriches them personally. somehow, i dont htink playing computer games 12 hours a day is enriching his life.

Certainly hasn't enriched mine any. 😱 Although I have 'enriched' others in purchases for said addiction.
