Anyone even attempt to use this thing? The size of it has to be monstrous...

I suppose that it has to cool extremely well, but i'm wondering how the thing has to look, espicially considering how large the normal zalman 7000 and 700 series coolers are.

No idea where they came from. I guess this Fatal1ty guy needed more money for a bigger, more pointless mouse mat and more feature packed mouse than the first Apollo space shuttle.

People that buy this stuff are probably hoping that using it will give them super gaming powers, or.. Something..

I thought that the fan-size on the VGA cooler was bigger, which would have meant that the entire thing was larger.

I guess the lack of external casing on the fan didn't make it seem like a full 80-mm to me.

But whats the point? I have two Zalman VF700cu's, one on a 6800Gt running at 12v and the other on a 7800GT running at "silent" mode (5v?). I have a pretty large oc going on the 6800GT (430/1140) and it still idles at 43c and gets to 70ish full load. Why would I pay $15more for a few extra cfm? Seems strange...

Yeah, as far as main construction they're modded 7700Cu and vf700Cu, with red copper and higher powered fans.

If it wasn't for the price I'd get one and re-badge it so it didn't say fa7ality or however he spells it. The red copper is sicckkkkk...

I'm waiting for that Granny Gamer to come out with her own line of knit monitor cozies.

That's a stupid thing to ask around here, where people pay $200 just to eek out that CAS2 timing.

I wouldn't pay the premium either for his brand name or whatever, but what do I know my rig is two years old.

There's a bunch of hypocrites in here who pretend like they wouldn't jump on that endorsement deal if they had the same opportunity. :roll:

Fatal1ty froducts are for LAN party goers to brag about their red copper cooler that you can recognize (through the completely transparent case!!11one) from across the room. That's probably why they're made louder, because that little extra noise is lost among that of the other.

that fatal1ty guy is an inspiration to me, he plays video games for a living and makes crazy amounts of cash. I probably will never buy any product with his name on it. But, the dude is rich from sitting on his ass. if I had a job where playing CS: Soure 6 hours a day was important I'd be one happy fellow =D

Actually, a job like that would suck. I dont care how much you like playing games. That would get old really fast.

Agreed. When will companies realize that nobody is buying this stuff because it has Fatal1ty's name on it? I doubt anybody is buying the crap at all. They're all overpriced junk and you can do much better for the money.
