At least the president is making policies rather than humping Monica while spending our taxes.

Get this out of here.
Support our troops and their leaders.

i'd rather have an idiot screwing a chick than an idiot screwing up our country

and why should i support their leaders? or am i just supposed to do it without thinking

A PRESIDENTIAL idiot - great role model you ignorant ass

And how is our country getting screwed up? You obviously already are!

well if the choice is between two idiots, you don't really have a choice in whether or not you get an idiot, now do you?

good deal...not much into punk...but good deal if it's your thing.

all biting retorts aside...even as a moderatly liberal minded independent, I REALLY don't understand how anyone can be proud of how the bush administration has done things. I"m appalled. I'm shocked. I'm afraid. I struggle and struggle to understand how the pro-bush camp can say, much less believe, some of these things. I am completely and utterly dumbfounded. Even if you support his policies, that fact that he has driven people to hate him so passionately and created such a divide...is unsettling to say the least.

reading this thread is like reading orwell's 1984...except this is real.

ugh, I feel icky.

I'm with ya Dubb...

Hot deal really, however where's Pearl Jam - Bu$hleaguer ? They aren't really new punk I guess.

Scary times indeed... with the D-word in the distance.

I'll stop before I get flustered and start typing in all caps >8)

I'm baffled as to how people can not even think logically about the policies of this administration. There's sound reasoning behind every move and I'm pretty depressed that there are so many people in this country who refuse to look at thing rationally.

Anyway...here's a bump for hate rock.

I think that this should be moved to off topic, as no one is discussing the deal.

With that said, I think that the reason people either like or hate the current president is due to the lack of anything better to hate. There are no groups or countries that it is considered "okay" to hate anymore, so attitudes towards those in power are extreme to the point of being irrational.

People hated Bill Clinton when he was president, now people hate Bush. People will hate the next one too.

you're the only person refusing to look at things rationally... first you made a huge assumption and said fat mike is just doing this to make a quick buck and probably votes republican... and now you think these bands are "hate rock"? haha have you even listened to some of these bands? you call the rx bandits "hate rock"?

I got this CD, it's pretty good imo.
It's your typical punk comp CD though, it has a bunch of good short songs, then a few horrible ones.
But, it was worth it.

Give me an example of the sound reasoning behind one of their policies...

PS: Like most of the songs on comps CDs, most of them are crap, but there are a few good ones on thre to make it worth getting and at $6 for a CD and DVD it's a pretty hot deal if you're into the music.

Great CD at a sweet price. Punk has always been anti-establishment there is nothing new here. Long live the punk ideology.

Don't agree with somebody's views? What ever lead you to believe that belittling them would change things? I could easily tell you to STFU and go listen to a Toby Keith album. But where would that put me? Down to your level I suspect, so I will not say it.

Also when these trolls come in here it is best to just ignore them. That is the whole problem people keep feeding the fricking trolls.

Have a nice day.

nomadh posted waay back on p.1:

The question to ask of these people is; do you hate Bush because you hate the war or do you hate the war because you hate bush?

What possible difference could that make, knucklehead?
If you hate Bush because you hate the war = buy the record because you hate Bush.
If you hate the war because you hate Bush = buy the record because you hate Bush.

IF there's one thing I'm sick of it's how the Administration and its allies consistently combine illogic and ill manners to attack anyone who asks a question.

edited for typos, also to include quote once I realized how long this thread is.

hmmm how about voting for the one that didn't get us IN to iraq?

moot point now to me now honestlysince we are now in iraq
thats why my i care about who can get us out

uh last time i checked... kerry voted for us to go to iraq. BAM! people that dont know what they are talking about shouldnt talk. btw... i dont care either way i just thought i would point that out.

what ever happened to the days when discontent for a president meant not voting for him. its sad. neither candidate is evil. constructive criticism is good, saying bush is evil or kerry is a tree hugger is ignorant.

Dude. This is America--the country FOUNDED on political dissent. You aren't supposed to blindly support everything that your leader does, just by the mere fact that they are your leader! What kind of assinine reasoning is that? I could name some other leaders that pushed that view on their subjects, I think you can guess who they were.

And why do people say "support our troops" like we aren't TRYING to support the troups by getting them out of Iraq alive?! Maybe you should suppord their lives too, eh?

Looks for the lock...

For all of you "Yeah, but it's a hot deal man, quit thread crapping, and yeah Bush sucks..." whiners, would you all be talking up a great fund-raising CD for the KKK, "Rock Against Jews and Blacks?? If it was only $4 would you post it here and say, "Hey it's STILL a hot deal!!!"

I certainly wouldn't.

Seems like this should go in some off-topic America-hating forum.

:disgust:

Again. Everyone is just supposed to be sheep and follow everything a current leader does? THIS IS AMERICA PEOPLE! With out dissent and criticism we aren't free people. Why don't you understand that?

This has nothing to do with respect for our country.

Not supporting a President does not make you un-American.

Not supporting a war does not mean you don't support the troops who are having to fight it.

Bump for an awesome deal.
