I got to say I'm always confused by that whole men with style thing? What does this word "style" mean. My clothes selection style is very simple...

1) Is the said item of clothing clean, and not overly wrinkled. (overly wrinkled is a term used to describe above average in relation to other clean items of clothing.)

2) Does the item fit comfortably.

3) are the visible holes and stains acceptable for given outing.

4) wear item that passes 1-3.

5) Repeat with other clothes. Each sock is considered an individual item. Matching is not necessary.

However since having a girlfriend, 2 steps have been added.

1) show clothes selection to gf

2) change into something she says I'm allowed to wear and still get some later.

Hahaha, that sounds about right for most guys. All the guys I date are the Abercrombie & Fitch collar-poppers with strategically torn jeans....I don't like when guys wear running shoes unless they are exercising, shirts should be fitted, jeans should NOT have to be held up with hands, a belt should do the trick, doo-rags (sp?) or those huge t-shirts from Changes or such stores are unacceptable....and so on and so forth. I'm terrible, I know. But for some reason it's just important to me.

Time out..... did you say collar poppers? You date losers.... you realize that right?
Any male who spends time "strategically" tearing their jeans needs a good drop kick.

Haha. To me, the way a guy dresses indicates how he takes care of himself and what his confidence level is, and that's important to me. We all have days where we just pick up the first thing we find on the floor that doesn't smell like a$$ (or maybe thats just me), but in general, the way someone dresses shows a lot about him.

yea the way a person dresses tells a lot about them. For example, since they dress nice, they must have a lot of time cleaning their clothes, ironing, ripping, popping and combing their hair. Sounds like a loser that sits at home all day watching tv. you need to go for engineers, who spend alllllll night coming up with solutions to problems. All girls should go for guys who are dedicated to work (and their SO), and not themselves!

Or someone who isn't a workaholic who defines themself by their job, has social skills, knows how to have fun and show a girl a good time, and actually knows how to maintain a good appearance.

Everyone in here seems to have a problem with guys with style. My last boyfriend had great style, but usually just picked up whatever he could find on the floor that didnt look/smell too awful. He treated me like a queen, wasn't selfish, was great in his line of work, and had a life. And all the other guys I know that dress in the way you're making fun of are either going to good colleges or starting stable careers.

I'm impressed, she has made over 50-60 posts today in just a few threads.....

ribbon13, your ppd is close to being challenged ;)

I've had a pretty unproductive day.

still in school, working, or neither?

Full time student, part time job, one day to do absolutely NOTHING :D

so is this frequent posting going to occur on a weekly basis or a one time thing?

Probably gonna go a long time without posting and then become addicted for another day and do absolutely nothing else. Fun times.

No one can challenge my PPD.

I've been with my gf for 3 years and 9 months. I see her flaws and I love her as much as I did before, and I appreciate her being with me just as much!

Marliyn Monroe was a "hefty" size 12, but you would never think that by her photos. see

So how much do you weigh?

What height/weight combo would be the maximum that you would date, and what's the heaviest girl you've ever gone for?
I'm not a guy, but the maxium I would date of either a guy or a girl is 145 Lbs.

Yeah, right! I would say for a guy 6' 9" 257 Lbs, but that's pushing it. My preference would be for about 6' 5" 190 Lbs maxium, no gut and no fat ... just toned. If he's got all muscles, then raise that to about 237 Lbs. But to be on the safe side, it's 6' 5" 190 Lbs toned, no accommodation.

so on the flip side of things, it seems like this thread has attracted a lot of girl members, what size of men do you prefer?

Can't really tell from the angle. Your legs look superskinny...how tall are you?

I'm 5'2 and 125lbs. Seems like a lot, and maybe I could afford to lose a few pounds or tone up or something, but im pretty hourglass shaped and wouldnt mind if i had to put on a bikini tomorrow to go to the beach.

Well, actually, it doesn't seem like alot. Like I said it's average. But all this time people have been saying that 5'5 125 lbs is "ok", so I guess I felt like I needed to say that haha.

Yeah, but you did admit that you worry about weight--just not as much as others. Worry is worry! You worry.... And that means that weight is important even to you!
