Heart issues aren't the only problem. Being overweight can make you shorter over the long run quicker. You can also have major joint problems from the extra weight you need to carry around. I have joint problems from old injuries and because I am 6'0" 195lbs, it would be good for me to lose some weight, but my BMI is average. About 15% now that I have less time to cycle and be active.

Also overeating in general causes your body to have to fight off more free radicals, lowering your immune system, increasing your chances of cancer and other diseases. Not a good idea at all.

well i hope those that are overweight do something about it because the medical system is caving in. your lifestyle choices is translating into higher premiums for everyone else.

first thing i noticed in Nicaragua is that there are HARDLY any fat people at all. If they are fat, they are older men who hardly work and just drink and eat. Everyone else is slim and fit.

then on the flights home, i sat next to 2 fat americans, and in the airport i noticed how fat america is.

its pretty sad.

To compare people living in a prosperous society like the USA along with folks in Nicaragua is pretty silly. Just to paint with somewhat broad strokes, I think it is safe and reasonable to assume that the incomes and access to food is much better in the US than in Nicaragua. So of course you would expect Americans to eat more compared to migrant farm workers in Nicaragua. An optimal comparison would be to some other industrialized nation such as the UK or France; both of whom are experiencing a rise in obesity related issues.

You've never been there have you ...

when I was there, I ate more than I eat here. I never eat breakfast here, and I ate it there every day, as well as just ate my ass off, and drank more soda and alcohol in 1 week than I do in a month here.

when I came home, I had LOST weight. the food there is just prepared much more properly than it is in the US. I ate a crapload of meat while there, and meat there is very VERY cheap. However its not loaded with steroids and all that other crap. Also, people there have to walk everywhere giving them a lot of exercise.

however you don't see little kids begging for mcdonalds or candy bars. over there, every meal is a good home cooked meal with meat, rice, and tortillas. it's much better for you than the crap we have over here.

Ever stop to think it wasn't the food, it was the activity level? People on vaction tend to be much more active and under a lot more stress than they are at home.

And for the last time, steroids used in cows have absolutely NO effect in humans, even when injected directly into humans. Cows and humans have completely different hormone receptors. It is a physiological impossibility for bovine growth hormone to have any effect in humans.

Except for the fact that it inhibits the cow's natural growth process which in turn makes the quality of the meat (taste) and the nutrition of the meat worse. It also makes the cow's more fattened instead of lean like free range cows, which in turn we ingest.

Fat doesn't make you fat.

Also, you contradicted yourself. Higher fat meats taste BETTER than lean meats. That's why the perfect steak is marbled with fat. Too lean beef is dry and tastless. Free range meat is horrible compared to farm raised meat. It's dry and tough.

And please point to any valid proof that BGH makes the beef less nutritious.

I wouldn't necessarily say that. Some of the best meat I've eaten was lean with little to no fat. Things like bison, wild boar, pheasant, wild turkey, etc.

if 6ft and 195 isnt bad at all, im 6ft 225, when i was in the best shape i was even in, as in running a mile in 5 min and being able to run many miles easly avging 6:30 a mile i was only down to 190, now i dont know about your body structure but FWIW if i weighed 195 id be almost skinny

Not entirely true. There are some Cow steriods that do work on people and some of the guys in our gym use them.

Really? Name the drug.

Horse? Maybe... Cow? No.

Both cow drugs, One Finaplix, which is used for its trenbolone acetate, The other is Synovex H which is used for its testosterone propionate both drugs that work when injected into humans.

i'm 5'8 and 185 pounds in athletic form, i work out three times a week.

i have abs, my chest size is 40 inches, waist 33 inches and biceps 15-16 inches (quite big for average guy.) i can even wiggle my man-boobs. 😀

but my doctor told me i need to diet because i'm 40 pounds overweight. 😕

After reading the thought-provoking idealogy, comments, and queries, I think it logical that one must ask:

Where does having a fat dong and being happy fit in?
