The X1800XT-PE will be 12% faster on the GPU & 6% faster on then memory. It needs to make up more than 12% to beat the 7800 GTX512. I doubt it will be faster. Based on availability, price, etc. it may be a better buy than the 7800 GTX512, but only time will tell.

Did I miss something ATI announced the specs for the X1800xt pe? Link please I want to read it with my own eye's
