Fastest CPU on Abit KT7A Mobo

I'm running a Duron 800MHz processor on an ABIT KT7A mb I got last year, and it's about time to upgrade. What's the fastest processor I can run on this motherboard so I don't have to go out and drop too much money? I got the motherboard for its upgradeability. The AMD website says it can run up to an Athlon 1.2GHz, but that was posted last year, probably when the board came out. Therefore, things could have progressed quite a bit.

I'd appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Contrary to Abit's website, my KT7A-RAID v1.0 previously flashed with the 7N BIOS booted and worked fine(just sold it) with an XP1800. Oh my ECS K7S5A v1.0 also works perfectly with a newly installed XP1800. Just goes to show you, don't believe everything written on a MB manufacturer's website, they just want to sell you a new board.
