Viper GTS

not to forget the skyline has an electronically controlled diff, thus, you can set the power to 100/0 R/F bias for the burnout, turn it up to around 80/20 for the launch with a dial, and boom, your gone.

you can do that on an STI too, but i think the most it will go is 30/70
35/65 F/R

edit: the DCCD has an automatic computer controlled mode or allows manual locked adjustments from 50/50 to 35/65.

we're talking quarter mile...for comparison, the 959 has a high eleven quarter time IIRC.

r34 skyline is a good example of primaryly being rwd, but is awd when needed. smartest c0mput3r evar.

edit: was waiting for it to download while i posted. its a skyline. 🙂 looks like a r32.

AWD does not always mean a 50/50 split. It depends on the type of AWD system. In a lot of automatic Subarus, it is 90% of the power to the front wheels, and 10% to the back in normal driving, unless you manualy shift into 1st or 2nd. In manual Subarus, its a 50/50 split in normal driving. Not for all, but a majority of the new generation models.

I heard AWD can sometimes mean a uneven power split between the front and rear wheels. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

That is an RWD drag car with no front or center differentials.
Edit: Didn't see the video, I was thinking of a different aussie Skyline, not this white one.

I'm still partial to Shepherd's car.

I agree , John's car is mean , and the guys over at forced performance are da chit. My gen 1 talon was inspired by John Shepards fastest awd on street radial's record.
