Gotta love AIBs pushing the boundaries, that is a sweet single card solution, hopefully they price it right!

You will still have any drawbacks of SLI if there are any.

As far as I have seen, I have no problems at all. This card is basically my set up but as just one card so you can go 4 Way SLI. SLI 760s perform very well, though it would really be best to have 4GB of memory for higher resolutions.

It's all about perception. Added value, user experience.

Please don't start with this.......again...

I think its pretty cool. It will be $500. I could see it being okay for someone wanting a unique card or quad-SLI in mATX, but other than that it seems rather pointless.

That is actually a very good premise for the card, but no...I don't see the card as being pointless at all.

It will deliver on par with the 780Ti, but cost about $200 less.

760's are slower than 7950's, especially if the 7950's are OC'ed. You are going to need faster cards to get higher FPS.

WOT does not support CF but does support SLI. I was getting 120 fps maxed at 1080 on a single 7950 but once I went to 1440 all I see is 65-maybe 90. Adding a second 7950 did not help at all. SO Im looking for a single card solution but you may be right, it maybe bottle necked to my cpu. Without going underwater or buying a different chip I cant really fix that.

Playing BF3 I see crazy high FPS on my setup

Bottlenecked by a 4.6GHz 4770k?

Read the Overclock3D review and in the conclusion the price is mentioned and its slightly cheaper then a 780ti so my excitement went right out the window there for a cheap 780ti alternative.

Made the mistake of dropping a gtx280 back in the day in favor for a gtx295 and in the games that did not support sli i had downgraded to a gtx260 but in the games that took advantage of it the upgrade was great.:awe:

according to overclock3d, its msrp is $700 usd, which is almost the price of two 290's, maybe those numbers are wrong, otherwise It's a waste of time to me

If that is the case, then yeah it is indeed pointless because SLI 760s can be had for $520 bucks. A single card should not cost more for the same performance.

I feel like skimping out on the RAM here really makes this card a poor choice. I guess if you wanted a fast card in the short term for 1080P it would be okay? Being a dual GPU 760 should let you play at higher resolutions though - but the lack of VRAM probably won't let you do that without some issues down the line.

For that price it has to compete with 780ti. It better be way cheaper than that

It's only equal to the 780ti at its best, and it uses more power.

Should be using full GK104 dies for a $700 price, perhaps even cheaper.

Then you'd be talking an AIB 690. We already know that's not allowed. This is probably the biggest dual GPU card that nVidia will allow.

A small premium i think would be ok and i am talking like $30-$50 or something, this board is targeted to someone like me who has a motherboard which can only support 1 pci slot making sli impossible but who wants hell of a lot of performance for little money and that is about it i believe but at $700 forget that.

A $700 2gb card running neck to neck with a 3gb $700 card? This card shouldn't have been $600 and at this price selective few will buy it as some people already are running into vram limitations with sli 2gb 670 and 680 set ups.

Well, the card is plenty fast. Now they just need to get the price right.

Oddly enough, even though 2GB of memory sounds puny...it performs equally as well as the 290X at 4K with twice as much memory. Just goes to show that marketing the 290X for 4K is just marketing jibberish. By the time 4K becomes relevant all of today's cards will be obsolete.

I don't know? The top single GPU cards are virtually tied in performance and without the dual GPU issues. Add to that they have more RAM and most of them are likely going to be cheaper, I don't see the point.
