Hi everyone,
So right now, i have a i7 920 at 3.66Ghz, but this is with turbo boost. Without turbo boost it's at 3.5Ghz. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think turbo boost only works on one core. The ram, i currently have is rated for 1600Mhz, but is running at ~1400Mhz. So, I was wondering, would it be better to try to change the multiplier around in order to get higher ram speeds (around 1600), and thus disabling turbo boost, or is the boost on one core better?
Currently, my pc is mainly used for some free fps games, web browsing, and fl studio.
Thanks for all the help guys
