One of our clients asked us for a web filtering system to control the porn-browsing situation at work. At first, we went with Net Nanny 5, but the program slowed down the connection to the degree that we had to get rid of it on all the stations. If you happen to know any better product out there, I'd appreciate your input. It doesn't have to be fancy, but we hope it won't interfere with speed.

Any software filter will slow down (but it should be huge significant slow down).

You can try to offer such a solution: Parental Control at the Router.

I visited the page, and it was saying that it requires a certain router. Would it be possible to use the method of filtering at the router on various models and vendors too?

You must buy this Router since the capacity is embedded in the Router's firmware.

However it is a sub $100 item. Not a lot of money if you consider the time lost on employees viewing and downloading pr0n.
