fast mobo?

my deer power supply committe suicide last week and took my mobo with it. i'm looking to replace it and i'm looking for one with a fast boot time- it kills me to wait for my machine to reboot. any suggestions would be much appreciated. btw- if my 800 duron survived i'll be using that for awhile- if not i will be buying an xp1700.
 
Either the shuttle ak31a or epox 8kha+ (refurbished- $59-69 at newegg with free shipping). Both work well with regular pc2100 ddram.
