Here's the dilly...

Right now, I pay $89.00/mo for the following through my cable co:
10/1 Internet (which regularly hits 25/1)
Digital Cable + Starz/Encore (plus a DVR, but the DVR isn't enabled so I can only "DVR" currently showing shows)
VOIP with free local/LD, but no voicemail (it costs extra?)

Now, I have the potential option to get in on the AT&T $10 (or $15) DSL, 768k/128k, and get a pair of cell phones, probably one being an iPhone for me (and something simple for my wife) for about $60/mo.

Now mind you, I enjoy downloading all these large swaths of internet that publishers put out these days, but I don't do much in terms of streaming anything. About the most I do is gaming.

So, keep the current package, or move to DSL/iPhone? I can't do both, as it's not in the budget.

the 128 up could be just a little low for gaming. I'd stick with cable. 89 bucks for what you're getting is really good.

You will quickly and PAINFULLY notice the difference in Internet speed. Stick with cable and F the iphone. If you still want cheap cell phones, get some prepaid guys. Tmobile is selling a $40 prepaid cell phone complete with $25 in call credit. You can buy cards in $100 or 10c per minute increments.

I hate cell phones in general and even if I like them I would probably spend a lot more time on my computer than on my phone.
Go for the fast ISP. You will be grateful.

Not an option. Internet then jumps to $55/mo, putting my total bill for phone/net well over $100/mo.

Usually I would say "Whichever is cheaper", but cell based internet would suck.

It's not cell-based. I'd pick up DSL for ubercheap.
