Okay, with an opening weekend of 47 million, Fast & Furious made the world aware of a subculture (car racing) that a lot of people (including me) did not know existed.
We should do the same thing with the subculture of overclocking computers. Here's my idea for this new movie.
The movie is about a group of hot looking geeks who gather every weekend for LAN parties. Everybody brings their own "overclocked" rigs to the parties. There are a lot of young hot AnandTech OT type girls who hang out there too. Everybody is trying to outdo each other in overclocking their rigs. They compete to see who gets the highest fps in CounterStrike.
In order to finance their expensive hobbies, some of these geeks resort to a life of crime. They go to malls and shoplift candy bars and comic books and sell them on the streets for profit. The hot AnandTech OT girls give out sexual favors in exchange for faster CPUs and bigger memory sticks.
Whatta ya think guys? Am I on to something here?
