The CEO of Wendy's name is Kirk Tanner. I mean You can come up with some more rich prick prep school names than that, but it's a pretty good one. Guy is a douche because only a douche would come up with this or implement it.
Kellogg and Pepsi have our backs:Wendy’s has already been raising their prices significantly. ($5 biggie bags now have options at $6 and $7 dollars for example or a single meal is ~$10). If they wanted to raise prices and “sell” the idea of “surge pricing “ they should have said they’ll have “happy hour” or something similar where they discount the price of food during slower times.
Customers generally deal better with discounts at set times than increased prices at potentially random times.
Total marketing failure right here.

How is it that the other McDonald's bread decomposed yet the Big Mac did not?You guys just keep telling yourselves that food which doesn't naturally decompose (or decomposes so slowly it's genuinely scary) is perfectly fine for human consumption.
This type of "thinking" is why the majority of Americans are so fat and unhealthy.
Personally I don't get my nutritional information from fast-food ads. 😉

If they're consuming a responsible number of calories, I simply don't agree with your statement. If you just get a burger, small fries, and water, that's fine. I used to like the "classic chicken", but yeah, after having one last year, ain't doin' that no more. I was enjoying their Ch'King, but it's gone.Face it... it's the entire package now. 🙁
The last positive thing about fast food IMO is that it was cheap even if it was mostly crap.... that's no longer the case. For the price of a single visit to McDogs (for example) I can get a nutritious meal at a locally owned business -OR- cook several even healthier meals at home.
My last "fast food" (maybe ever!) was a Burger King "Classic Chicken" 2x combo with 2x small fries AND 2x small sodas. And yes I ate every bit of the above myself lol gross I know.
With coupon it was only $5.49(!!) so PRICE wasn't the issue this time .... problem was I felt like garbage for hours after eating it plus it just wasn't very good!

When was the last time this person ordered a dozen donuts? 2005?Tim Horton's has really gotten expensive. Been a while since I bought donuts so didn't realize it, but a dozen goes for over 12 bucks now. I remember when it was about 99 cents for 1 donut and if you bought 12 it was cheaper. Now a dozen is more expensive per donut than what individual donuts used to be. The quality has gone down too. No real reason to buy these at that price and quality, if you want donuts better off just going to the bakery.

Oh fuck off McDonalds, always playing victim and blaming labor even though the fuckers were still very profitable in Denmark paying $22 an hour years ago while also having the same menu prices we paid in the US. They're struggling so much they need to make Big Macs $5 in San Antonio yet every time I go there they give me a receipt with a survey I can do in 45 seconds to make them buy 1 get 1 free. Tells you how profitable they must be if they can get away with selling them to me at half price every single time I go. Also lol playing the labor is 40% more expensive card when every fast food joint I have been to since 2020 has cut staffing.
