When you go to, say, Wendy's, how do you order your burgers (if applicable)?

I hate tomatoes, but those bastards always fvck it up and give me a plain burger/mayo-only/ something so ridiculously off from what I ordered that I inevitably end up ordering the food as advertised and mod the son-of-a-bitch after I get it. :frown:

If the sandwich has mayo on it, I tell them no mayo. 9 out of 10 times they get it right. Sometimes I remove the tomato as well, but if I tell them no tomato no mayo they almost always screw it up.

I order it plain and actually get it plain about 40% of the time, but a lot of it depends on the restaurant, location, and people at the counter.

McDonald's IMO has the best food but they almost never listen to what I want, and Wendy's is the complete opposite, great service but the nastiest burgers ever. If you get a burger in suburbia or near a famous place like the Grand Canyon they almost never fail to complete your demands, but in the city they never listen. Then for the cashiers, Mexican men and white women usually don't listen but Mexican women and white men will often do it right.

Sometimes I will order a burger without tomatos if the place puts them on there, except Wendy's aparently the people at Wendy's don't know the difference between pickles, lettuce, mayo and tomatos. :|

Yes, I've noticed this as well. You can sometimes order ONE customization of your meal, but two is out of the question. Sometimes I like extra lettuce, so I'll ask for that + no tomatoes. Usually I end up with no lettuce and extra tomatoes, or maybe extra of both, but never either-or. 🙁

i dont even bother asking for it a special way at my wendys. they have the order ready before i can even pull up to the window, even if its dead that night. mmm, yummy red light food. dont care though, still tastes fine.

but it takes so long to add customizations to the burger when using those darn POS by the time you punch in the custom burger the kitchen has started making it 🙁.

I try to give the fast food idiots as little challenge as possible.
I NEVER order a burger a special way because they spit on it and I don't like snot burgers.

I order it as advertised and pick off what I don't like. I don't trust a 16 year old with the responsibility of leaving out the pickles in my burger, nor do I trust the same 16 year old to go easy on the mayo in my chicken burger. The former takes about 3 seconds to complete and the latter requires that I sacrifice a singly french fry.

I order it like I want to eat it, and they're usually pretty accurate.
I had a bit of a problem with my chalupas until I started ordering them the way it shows up on the receipt.
