How many people have tried Netflix's new speed test site? I got 88 mbps in two runs. Not bad. It doesn't measure upload speed, though.

I pay for 150, but 130 is close enough that it's probably a bottleneck of the sever or a data center in-between.
 
5 on fast.com 24 on speedtest. Definitely getting more than 5 everywhere else I have tried.
 
58 mbps, a little faster than I pay for.

When I first moved here ~1.5 years ago FIOS suuuuucked for YouTube, Netflix, and the like even though the throughput supposedly matched advertised speeds. At some point it got much better, though.

This means your ISP is throttling netflix servers as Fast.com uses the netflix servers to do the speedtest, or there is some major congestion inbetween.

Meh, don't care then. I use Amazon, youtube and whatever I am streaming from Dish. Haven't had any problems from them in the three months I have had this ISP.

0.71Mbit/sec down, 15.9Mbit/sec up on beta.speedtest.net.

Hmm, something's not right.

Edit: My other internet connection, I get:

24Mbit/sec on fast.com.

19Mbit/sec down, and 6Mbit/sec up on beta.speedtest.net.

Wonder what's up with my VZ connection.

Edit: Guess it's just my wifi, and that laptop I was on. On one of my wired machines, I get 30Mbit/sec.

I thought FIOS throttles Netflix? I'm showing 58Mbps speed (my near-max and same as speedtest) though. Maybe they only do it at night?

They haven't done it in ~2 years. I was paying keen attention to it and would switch to my VPN if I noticed throttling. I haven't had to in a long time though.
 
On wireless connection ~ 38 Mb or so (50 Mb is the speed I should get). I will check it with the laptop connects directly to the modem by cat5 cable later.

I like Speedtest.net.
