The surgery consisted of removing her left eye, which included nerves. The doctors were excited about the surgery and said everything went as planned and unbelievably well.

We believe Jesus has answered our prayers for this miracle through the prosthesis for her eye, which will be a part of our journey and the healing process.Along with the pain she was already experiencing with her arm and shoulder injuries, the removal of the left is also very painful. We are asking again for prayer to relieve this pain, and also, as we have posted previously, pray for Lo (Lauren) to regain her appetite.

Jesus acts completely indifferent by allowing their daughter to get injured, and then it's a miracle when a prosthetic eye is created for what she lost?

I hope her parents really aren't this dense.

They might as well pray for her to regrow her missing hand.
(Original article says "hand," but the update makes it sound like it's her whole arm now.)

I feel so safe under your neverending and benevolent gaze, Jesus. At least I can rest safe knowing that I won't get killed by some random thing - just horribly injured. What you don't know makes you stronger. (Unless it paralyzes you and renders you completely braindead.)

If you check the recent picture, you can see her left forearm against the material of her sleeve, so the arm is intact, just missing the hand.
 
She looks good, I thought her whole head/face would be mangled for some reason. I'm sure the eye and that whole area are pretty bad though.

And her parents are obviously fucking retarded.

Most of the people in this retarded country in which we live (the USA) are this dense. Think of how stupid the average person is and then realize that half of them are stupider than that. (missugeorgecarlin)

Notice how quickly "prayer vigils" are formed when someone goes missing? As if you standing in a group with a candle helps anything at all. GO LOOK FOR THE DUDE WTF?!!

Maybe it has to do with the fact that she and her family totally shit on the doctors and nurses who actually saved her life, and instead gave all praise to some invisible man in the sky.
